The Luxury honey brand artMuria (www.artmuria.com) has participed in the 18th edition of thel Torneo Costa Brava Cataluña Cuina i Golf, organized by the gastronomic organization La Cuina de l’Empordanet.
The event took place this Monday at the Club Golf d’Aro-Mas Nou de Platja d’Aro (Gerona), and after a lunch was celebrated hosted by the chefs of the organization and the awards ceremony at the Hotel Costa Brava, of the same city in Gerona.
The lunch took place in a marquee at the golf camp, where nearly 250 people were able to taste the luxury honey artMuria, featured in the tasting menu. The assistents were also able to taste typical empodenese plates, cooked by the chefs of the La Cuina de l’Empordanet.
The evento counted with the presence of many renown celebrities from the sports world such as ex-football barcelona players from the “Dream Team” Julio Salinas and José Mari Bakero the secound trainer of the Gerona FC Joan Garrido, the ex-basketball player Ferran Martínez, the double olimplic medal of sincronized swimming Thais Henríquez or the Dakar pilot Joan Pedrero, amongst others.
artMuria was able to note, once again, that the new range of flavoured orange honey (saffron, white truffle, black truffle and gold) and their honey dispenser, because it comes directly from the hive to the table, intended for Five stars Hotels and Restaurants, have great acceptance.

To strengthen online sales of small gourmet buisness’, Vente-Privée present each month a Spanish region and it’s gastronomy to their more than 50 million European members of the online company has.
During an event, celebrated at the Hotel H10 Puerta de Alcalá at Madrid on the 27th of June, Vente-Privée presented nine brands that participated in the first regional gastronomic sales: Pesasur, Hisenda Guzmán, Inés Rosales and Jabugo de Lley –from Andalusia; Marinesca and Daporta -from Galícia; and Bombons Cudié, Vicens and artMuria -from Catalonia.
Vente-Privée entered the gastronomic world in 2013, when Internet was still an unfamiliar cannel for the mayor part of food producers of this country. Now, the flash sales web has released the idea of “regional gastronomic sales” seizing the duality of “online-food” to help Spanish producers that wish to improve their image and introduce themselves to new markets, nationals and internationals, as is the case for artMuria, that is positioned as a reference of the sector.
According to experts, the Spanish regional gastronomic SME’s will increase their sales from the online channel between a 10% and 20% in the next 5 years.

The 31st edition of the International Fine Food and Beverages Fair was celebrated in Madrid from the 24th to the 27th April
El Perelló (Tarragona), 4th May of 2017.- The Luxury honey brand artMuria (www.artmuria.com/en/) has participated as a member of Luxury Spain (Spanish Luxury Association) in the 31st edition of the International Fine Food and Beverage Fair Salon de Gourmet 2017, celebrated at Madrid from 24 to 27 of April.
The event, organized by Grupo Gourmets, main European event dedicated to delicatessen products and one of the world’s most prestigious in this sector, that has reunited a total of 1.630 exhibiting companies, that have shown more than 40.000 products and more than 1.300 gastronomic novelties.
The new range of artMuria flavours, the variety of orange honey (saffron, White truffle, black truffle and gold), launched by the company at the end of last year, has had a great acceptance from the more than 93.000 professional visitors from the food industry:

• artMuria with saffron: an aromatic and sophisticated treasure

Honey with a floral aroma, yellow-reddish-orangey colour, with particulates of saffron. Dominant sweet flavour, but with some tart notes and a slight sour taste from the saffron. This honey combines well with teas, warn milk, fresh cheese, anchovies, pickles, chutney, rice, pasta, meat stews, potatoes, sweets and ice cream.

• artMuria with white truffle : Nature’s unique caprice

Honey with a floral aroma, a very light amber colour, with characteristic truffle components, earthy, like rain, nutty and red forest fruits. Dominant sweet taste with tart notes. This honey combines well with light sauces and plates that don’t take away the protagonism from the truffle. Ideal over fresh pasta, rice or salads. For warm plates always add at the end of the cooking so the honey doesn’t lose its aroma.

• artMuria with black truffle: intense reminder of the forest

Same as the previous, this honey has a floral aroma, a very light amber colour, also with characteristic truffle components that increase significantly in the retornasal when warmed in the mouth. This honey combines well with sauces for meat, barbeque, pasta, salads, cold meat and pates. This honey can tolerate heat so it can be used in cooking.

It is a forged iron structure, that holds a Honey comb of one the varieties of artMuria honey, and underneath has a stainless steel tray, laid with a slight slope, so that the honey trickles down on to the tray and into a jar. The honeycombs are sealed with bees wax and to start to use the honey all you need to do is remove the wax.
The prototype, normally in the Luxury hotel trade sector on a European level, offers a breakfast buffet and is put on a dinner table for the guests to enjoy an original and tasty honey, without any manipulation or industrial processing.
